Overview

CENTRA™ is a centralised laboratory water purification, storage and distribution system packaged into a single unit. It is available as two systems: centralised distribution and centralised purification and distribution. The CENTRA™ design overcomes the limitations of traditional central water purification systems to deliver consistent water purity, flexibility and economy.

The compact design of the CENTRA™ provides flexible installation options for both new buildings and refurbishments and a small footprint means it can be placed closer to the laboratory, avoiding costly and unnecessary pipe work.

 

What is a Centralised Laboratory Water Purification System? 

Water is a commonly used reagent in laboratories where water quality is of paramount importance as impurities may compromise experimental results. Laboratory water purification systems can be configured in various ways to meet water delivery volume requirements and provide water where it is needed in an establishment.

  • Centralised systems: Purified water is distributed via pipework to where it is needed. Useful when high volumes of consistent water quality are required.
  • Floor-by-floor systems: Purified water is distributed via pipework to a local area, often on one floor. Useful in situations where different levels of water purification are needed in an establishment. Floor-by-floor systems reduce the impact of system downtime.
  • Point of use (POU) systems: Localised, point-of-use systems provide water of the required quality from smaller purification systems installed where the water is needed. Useful in situations where water quality requirements are very specific and volume requirement are low.

CENTRA® provides complete water purification, storage and distribution from a single, centralised unit. CENTRA® is a flexible, economic centralised water purification system delivering water of consistent purity at up to 30 litres per minute.
