Sludge hygienisation

BioPasteur™ is a method of sludge hygienisation.

The sludge is heated to 70°C and held at this temperature for a period of 1 hour, as per the regulations. The plant is made up of heat exchangers and retention tanks.

Typically, three retention tanks are required and this allows for a continuous supply of sludge to the plant and also to the subsequent digester.
